a flight instrument

The Flytec 6030 is a sophisticated flight instrument with built in GPS that is well suited for the entry level pilot to the advanced competition pilot.  The 6030 features a fast CPU, highly advanced circuitry, advanced data recording, in a sleek and compact  housing. The 6030 has a previously unavailable airspeed sensor that boasts the widest speed range available (12-180 mph!). The display is high-resolution 1/4 VGA and the intelligent keypad layout gives direst access to all key flight functions.  The battery supply is two banks of AA rechargeable batteries.  The smart battery technology allows the 6030 to auto-switch to the secondary battery bank when the primary bank is exhausted and since the batteries are now user replaceable you can always substitute alkaline if you discover at launch that you forgot to charge the the batteries. Connection to a PC for upload, download and firmware updates is via a USB port and there is  an SD card for future expansion.  The 6030 has an improved menu structure and terminology and can be set for several different languages.
